Frank Ebbecke

Frank Ebbecke is a German citizen, but a true Russian advertising ‘veteran’. He came to the market as early as in 1994 as member of the ‘Ford Russia Launch Team’, freelance consulting on building up the brand. Back then he already started to cooperate with the advertising agency Ark Thompson. From 2004 till 2007 he then was asked by JWT Moscow advertising agency to support the ‘Mazda Motor Russia Launch Team’. In January 2008 he became President of the Ark Scholz & Friends Marketing Communications Group in Moscow.

By education he is a journalist (seven years as a global reporter for ‘Stern’ magazine). He entered the advertising business with joining J. Walter Thompson in Frankfurt. In his 16 years of employment he mainly served on the European Ford accounts as a Creative Director and in the management, but was also active on multinational communication tasks for FMCG (i.e. Nestle), banks (i.e. Deutsche Bank), airlines (i.e. Lufthansa), luxury goods (i.e. Rolex), etc. In 1993 he had made himself independent with FE Communications in Frankfurt, then in Dusseldorf and from early 2007 - in Moscow.
